Job summary

Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician to help keep floors clean and safe for residents and staff. You will perform sweeping, mopping, buffing, and basic custodial duties while supporting the care team in a dynamic facility setting.

• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations.

As a Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility's floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.

As a Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician at Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping, and buffing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Restocking supplies and materials as needed
• Performing custodial tasks, such as emptying trash and recycling bins, and restocking paper products
• Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Working closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience with a Skilled Nursing Facility, or Long-Term Care Facility preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
