Job summary

Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician to help keep our facility clean and safe for residents and staff. You will sweep, mop, buff floors, and support daily custodial tasks to meet high sanitation standards.

The role involves restocking supplies, handling trash and recycling, assisting with laundry and housekeeping, and collaborating with team members to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced Skilled Nursing Facility

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience with a Skilled Nursing Facility, or Long-Term Care Facility preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping, and buffing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Restocking supplies and materials as needed
• Performing custodial tasks, such as emptying trash and recycling bins, and restocking paper products
• Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Working closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
