Job summary

Buckeye Commons Care & Rehab is seeking a dedicated housekeeping/maintenance aide to perform day-to-day cleaning and maintenance tasks in a care facility. You will follow schedules, maintain a sanitary environment, and support the staff in ensuring residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas and resident spaces, performing routine maintenance, and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly facility.
• Follows cleaning schedules and conducts routine maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs and cleaning vents.
• Cleans and disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors, windows and furnishings; replaces linens and organizes spaces as needed.
• Restrooms and common areas are kept clean, sanitary, and well maintained; responds to cleaning needs promptly.
