Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Part-time Float Pharmacist to support prescriptions across multiple Northern Minnesota sites, including Duluth. The role requires a BA or PharmD in Pharmacy and a Minnesota pharmacist license (or willing to obtain). Immunizer certification or willingness within 3 months is preferred.

32 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday. Hourly pay ranges from $44.09 to $78.70 with benefits; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for

Qualifications

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in Minnesota or willing to obtain prior to start date.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
