Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Phoenix, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacist to join a mobile team providing pharmacy services across multiple sites in the metro area.

This Per Diem role requires a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, an active AZ license, and immunization certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months). You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel up to 50% of work time.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Current AZ pharmacist license.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Travel up to 50% between sites.
