Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a Full-time Float Pharmacist to support multiple Genoa locations in the Twin Cities area and beyond. You will process prescriptions, provide medication information, and deliver superior customer service.

Immunization administration is allowed where permitted by law; you will comply with state boards and travel as needed. Hours typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in Minnesota.
• Immunization certified or will obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
