Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a full-time Float Pharmacist to support our on-site pharmacies across western and central Massachusetts. The role will float between locations, processing prescriptions and delivering excellent patient service.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, a current Massachusetts pharmacist license, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
