Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Float Nurse Practitioner to support MinuteClinic clinics in Decatur and surrounding areas. The role offers 30-40 hours per week, with every-other-weekend scheduling, and a focus on primary and family-based care in a fast-paced retail health setting.

You will provide evidenced-based care, perform diagnostic testing and coordinate with clinicians to ensure continuity of care, while using Epic for documentation and staying current with immunizations and health

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year NP experience; family medicine or primary care preferred.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Administer immunizations and vaccines; DOT within 30 days of employment.
• BLS certification and ability to wear respirator PPE.
• Two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced-based care incl. assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning.
• Handle clinic opening/closing, inventory, follow up, insurance verification, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Manage patient appointments and routine examinations for positive health outcomes.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Encourage patient participation in health screenings, wellness, and chronic condition management.
