Job summary

CVS Health MinuteClinic is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to support clinics in Chamblee and surrounding areas. The role involves providing primary and family-based care with autonomy while collaborating with the clinic team.

The position requires willingness to work every other weekend and maintains a strong focus on safe, high‑quality care. The provider will open/close clinics, handle inventory, schedule patient follow-ups, verify insurance, and ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention and STI prevention.
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning.
• Open/close clinic, manage inventory, patient follow-up, verify insurance and collect payments.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Explain healthy lifestyle choices and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
