Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a part-time Simulator Second in Command to support client training by serving as SIC for multicrew flights during Recurrent, Initial or generic programs and to maintain currency in assigned programs.

The role requires fluent English, excellent cockpit communication, professionalism with customers, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules in a high‑pressure training environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–3 years related experience or training.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class and instrument ratings; minimum 450 hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as Second-in-Command (SIC) for clients training in multi-crew aircraft who have no flying partner.
• Maintain SIC pilot qualification per program requirements.
• Maintain SIC qualification per FlightSafety International's QMS processes and procedures.
• Keep current all certificates, ratings and designations required to perform duties as an SIC.
• Act as SIC in various aircraft for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients as required.
