Job summary

FlightSafety International in Florida seeks a Part-time Simulator Second in Command to support recurrent and initial training. The SIC provides leadership in multi-crew training environments, maintains currency and qualifications, and ensures compliance with program and QA requirements.

Candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings and have at least 450 flight hours.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Excellent cockpit verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with Customers professionally.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
• A second language may be required at some Learning Centers.

Responsibilities

• Act as Second-in-Command (SIC) for clients in multi-crew aircraft training without a flying partner.
• Maintain SIC pilot qualification in line with program requirements.
• Maintain SIC qualification per FlightSafety International's QMS processes.
• Keep current all certificates, ratings and designations required to perform SIC duties.
• Act as SIC across Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA client needs.
