Job summary

Eric Snow Family YMCA and Meyers Lake YMCA in Kentucky are seeking part-time Personal Trainers. You will interact with members, create tailored fitness programs, and foster an inclusive environment aligned with YMCA values.

Ideal candidates hold a four-year degree or certification in exercise science, CPR/AED, and have experience with diverse populations. Completion of YMCA/ACE Foundations of Strength & Conditioning within 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field or equivalent certification.
CPR/AED certifications.
Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
YMCA/ACE Foundations of Strength & Conditioning certification within 60 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

Maintains well-documented, accurate and pertinent information on each client.
Follows through in a timely manner on initial communication with client.
Designs, maintains, and adjusts individual programs specific to the client's needs and wants in accordance with National YMCA guidelines.
Serves as a good role model by maintaining or improving their own personal fitness level.
Supports Y programs, promotions, and events.
Deals with each situation by using the YMCA Character Values.
Develops and maintains community collaborations.
Knows and abides by Y policies and procedures.
