Job summary

The Town of Gibsonville is seeking at least one part-time firefighter to work typically 24-hour shifts in Gibsonville, NC. Candidates must be 19+ and HS graduate or GED, with Firefighter I & II and EMT certifications, plus a valid NC driver license. NFPA physical is required and pay starts at $22.56 per hour.

Part-time firefighters may become eligible for a part-time fire engineer position after 6 months of satisfactory employment and meeting all requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to fires and emergency calls.
• Administer life support techniques and EMS care.
• Operate and maintain fire vehicles and equipment.
• Drive fire apparatus to scene and assist in rescue operations.
• Inspect and prepare equipment and station areas.
