United Defense Tactical is seeking a skilled Firearms Instructor for part-time engagement in Nashville. You will deliver firearms safety and handling training, conduct sessions, and utilize a threat-based simulator along with live exercises to ensure realistic learning.

The role requires robust two-way communication, adherence to the curriculum, and the ability to work outdoors on an established range. Training emphasizes safety, technique, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a firearms instructor or law enforcement officer.
• Ability to learn and adhere to UDT's curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of firearm safety and handling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Instruct our members using UDT's threat-based reality simulator.
• Teach our force on force and self-defense training courses.
• Conduct firearms training sessions for individuals and groups, including basic safety, handling, and shooting techniques.
• Teach proper firearm safety rules and protocols to ensure all participants are aware of the potential hazards.
• Maintain training equipment and facility.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure range environment during training sessions.
• Evaluate participants' performance and provide feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Stay current with industry developments, new equipment, and training techniques to ensure that training sessions are up-to-date and effective.
