Job summary

Keystone Experts and Engineers seeks Part Time/Subcontracted Fire Investigators to determine origin and cause of fires in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, including vehicles and machinery across the United States. Investigators report findings verbally or in writing with fast turnaround.

Requirements include IAAI or NAFI membership preferred, NFPA 921/1033 knowledge, and travel readiness to loss locations; a Private Investigator license may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• IAAI-CFI certification preferred.
• Able to perform fire investigations and complete verbal and written reports to Keystone guidelines.
• Willing to travel to loss locations across residence and surrounding states.
• Private Investigators license required where state law calls for one.
• Knowledge of NFPA 921 and NFPA 1033.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Membership in IAAI or NAFI is preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
• Experience with Google Docs and other G-Suite apps is a plus.
