Responsibilities

• Arrive and set up restaurant for fine dining
• Gauge customers’ seating needs and seat them at appropriate tables
• Provide customers with information on menu items
• Take orders for lunch or dinner and relay orders to the kitchen using a POS
• Prepare drinks according to customers’ instructions and serve them timely
• Leave customers time to choose from the menu while answering questions
• Clear restaurant at the end of the day and complete side work
• During the day, you will be involved in training students learning wait staff duties
