Job summary

TAO Group is hiring part-time servers in New York to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in its high-energy venues. You will welcome guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a seamless dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory training includes Tao Group Hospitality in-venue server training. Candidates should have at least 2 years of server and food/beverage experience, with fine dining and high-volume experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years server experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience required
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience required
• Experience in Fine Dining preferred
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails required
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world required

Responsibilities

• Actively takes orders, conducts full and complete food/beverage service, and monitors guests’ dining experience
• Interacts with dining room guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality
• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue
• Presents menus, answers questions and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items
• Informs guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices
• Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures
• Ensures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests
• Follow supervisor’s instructions and support co-workers as a team
• Possesses knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and supporting hotel environments
• Assists and/or completes additional tasks as assigned
• Tao Group in-venue dining room Server training
