Job summary

TAO Group Hospitality in New York City is seeking part-time servers to deliver gracious hospitality while taking orders, presenting menus, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-volume venue.

You will maintain cleanliness, enter orders into the POS, and communicate with kitchen and floor staff. Minimum 2 years server or related Tao Group experience preferred; fine dining familiarity is a plus. Flexible evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years server experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience required.
• Experience in Fine Dining preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails required.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue
• Provides professional and exceptional service
• Presents menus, answers questions and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items
• Informs guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices
• Solicit allergies or dietary restrictions from each guest
• Enter all orders into the POS system
• Ensure delivery of all food and beverages to guests
• Follow supervisor’s instructions and work as a team player
• Knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and supporting hotel environments
