Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York, NY is seeking a professional server to deliver gracious hospitality in a dynamic, high-volume venue. You will present menus, take and enter orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Two years of server/F&B experience required; fine dining preferred.

Knowledge of cocktails and wines, plus strong teamwork, communication, and guest relations, are essential. This role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and adherence to

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years server experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience required.
• Experience in Fine Dining preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails required.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests.
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
• Provides professional and exceptional service.
• Presents menus, answers questions and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
• Informs guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices.
• Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follows proper cash/payment card procedures.
• Ensures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
