Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining as a Captain, ideally in Michelin-starred establishments.
• Willingness to learn and execute Kappo’s food, wine, and steps of service.
• Ability to stand and perform in a fast-paced environment, with strong guest focus.
• Must obtain a California Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead counter, ensuring flawless timing, pacing, and personalized guest interaction.
• Guide guests through the menu with stories of sourcing and culinary techniques.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness per standards.
• Support opening/closing duties and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
