The Captain directs staff daily, upholds service standards, and coordinates with F&B management to maintain guest satisfaction. Qualifications include knowledge of wine, service standards, and English fluency; experience with Micros/OpenTable is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Excellent wine knowledge and guest relations.
• Knowledge of Micros, OpenTable, and MS Word.
• Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English; Spanish helpful.
• Meets legal age requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provides feedback on hotel standards and assists leadership with coaching and evaluations.
• Train, develop and motivate staff to meet service goals.
• Listen to and resolve associate concerns professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, hours, and guest flow to inform staff.
• Assign daily tasks to ensure clean, well-organized seating areas.
• Report maintenance needs and ensure tools and products are available.
• Develop guest service skills to enhance the guest experience.
• Lead by example in standards of conduct and hospitality.
• Promote hotel dining options and services to guests.
• Assist with accounting by monitoring billing and register accuracy.
• Lead daily lineups to align priorities and goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver 4-Star service.
• Observe safety protocols and maintain a safe outlet environment.
• Complete required duties and special projects as assigned.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and maintain outlet cleanliness.
