Job summary

Carter Bankshares is seeking a Part-Time Financial Services Representative at Mill Creek to serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling daily transactions, guiding self-service options, and connecting customers with the right banking solutions.

You will build relationships to improve customers’ financial well-being, meet sales goals through referrals, and support a compliant, well-run branch. Prior cash handling and retail banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Successful customer service and/or sales experience.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience in a retail bank or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle everyday transactions and customer account servicing.
• Educate customers on self-service options and guide them to solutions.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate products and partners.
• Maintain branch standards and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Support branch growth through quality referrals and relationship building.
