Job summary

Teachers Federal Credit Union in New York seeks a part-time Financial Services Representative to strengthen member relationships and guide them to online, mobile, and ATM banking.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Minimum one year of general work experience, customer service, call center, sales or branch experience required.
• Minimum of six months cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, sales, mathematical, problem solving, multitasking and computer skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships.
• Process routine financial transactions for members efficiently and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA) in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, savings, borrowing, and investing needs.
• Educate members to bank more efficiently using the web, mobile, and ATM.
• Provide financial education and services to members to help them fit banking into their everyday lives.
• Proactively contact members to schedule appointments to discuss their personal financial goals.
• Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.
