Teachers Federal Credit Union in Farmingville, NY is seeking a Senior Financial Services Representative to engage members, grow the membership, and provide tailored consumer, small business and lending services in person and virtually.

You will manage a book of business, build lasting relationships, and support members with complex financial needs while collaborating with specialists to drive revenue in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s In Business in lieu of experience will be considered
• Minimum two years branch experience required
• Minimum two years of general work experience, customer service, call center, or sales experience required
• Commissioned notary or able to obtain notary commission within four months of starting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Proficient in CRM tools including Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Serve consumer and small business members by proactively engaging to understand and help with current and future financial needs
• Manage assigned members and meet with them in person and by phone to build lasting relationships and tailor product recommendations
• Lead in risk management and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations
• Maximize team profitability by enhancing sales skills and product knowledge in the branch
• Partner with specialists to connect members to experts for specialized financial needs
• Build and review member relationships, interpret data to make effective decisions
• Participate in campaigns, lead outbound calling, cross-sell when appropriate
• Travel between branches in the local area to support assigned market
• Mentor new representatives and handle escalated member issues as needed
