Skagit Conservation District is seeking a Finance Manager (Part-time, 32 hours) to steward financial operations under state law and district policies. You will work with the Board and District Manager to maintain fiscal integrity and efficient administration across Skagit County.

The role covers accounting, payroll, and grant contract administration, requiring a degree in accounting or related field and knowledge of GAAP and BARS practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or public administration.
• Experience with governmental accounting practices (BARS) and GAAP.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget-to-actual reports.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and grant invoicing.
• Process payroll biweekly, verify timesheets, and remit payroll taxes.
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with external partners.
