Job summary

Modern Maintenance Building Services, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Fill-in Cleaner to perform cleaning duties across multiple Milwaukee area sites, including New Berlin, Waukesha, and Caledonia. The role requires travel between sites and independence to complete tasks on schedule.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM, with responsibilities ranging from general cleaning to restroom upkeep. Prior cleaning experience and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Evening shift availability required (5:00 PM–1:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to disposal area.
• Sweep and mop hard surfaced floors.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies.
• Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures.

Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking a Full-Time Fill-in Cleaner to carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks in office buildings across various locations in the Milwaukee area, including Waukesha, New Berlin, and Caledonia. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The Cleaner should be prepared to travel to different sites and must be able to work independently. Previous experience is preferred. A Wisconsin Regular DL is required.

Fill-in Cleaners are responsible for communicating with the Account Manager and/or District Manager daily for dispatching them to the appropriate areas of the building each day. The cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The assigned area(s) could be multi-tenant buildings, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, financial institutions, or educational facilities. Cleaners must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal area.
• Sweep and mop hard surfaced floors.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies- ensure restrooms are stocked
• Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Job duties may be modified at any time based on customer or manager discretion.
• Follow all company Safety standards and procedures

This is a Full-Time position2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 5:00pm-1:00am.
