Move and position lightweight reflectance targets during data collection. Walk about 40 minutes on a forest route to the plots, carrying up to 40 pounds of equipment with or without accommodation. Assist with real-world data collection using a high-end laser scanning sensor.Qualifications:At least one year of undergraduate studies in forestry or a related field is strongly preferred. Ability to navigate and measure distances and directions (azimuths) in natural forests. Ability to hike off-trail for up to two miles while carrying equipment with or without accommodation.
