Job summary

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Community Research Assistant to support on-site data collection, administer surveys, and co-facilitate listening sessions across the Food Bank’s 11-county service area. The role requires travel to distribution sites and collaboration with the Community Data Analyst and Programs staff to achieve feedback goals.

This 3–10 hour-per-week position is funded by Feeding America with a paid rate of $20 per hour, through July 2028,

Qualifications

• Academic background in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Demonstrated experience with survey research preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate on-location, in-person collection of survey feedback across 11-county service area.
• Administer feedback collection activities handling sensitive neighbors respectfully.
• Collaborate with Community Data Analyst and Programs staff to meet goals.
