Job summary

Breathe Project seeks a Temporary Part-Time Community Research Assistant to support on-location, in-person data collection and expand understanding of neighbor experiences across the Food Bank’s 11-county service area. Travel to distribution sites and partner organizations will be required, with a 3–10 hour workweek commitment.

The role involves administering surveys, co-facilitating listening sessions, and providing support to collect neighbor feedback.

Qualifications

• Academic background in data collection/analysis-related field.
• Demonstrated experience with survey research preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and communities across a broad service area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate on-location data collection and surveys.
• Administer feedback collection activities respectfully and accessibly.
• Support data analyst and staff to meet feedback collection goals.
• Contribute to study design and language/methodology input.
• Collaborate with partners for listening sessions and qualitative data collection.
• Transcribe data from paper to digital formats as needed.
• Assist with data cleaning, organization, and formatting.
