Job summary

Avari Management is seeking an Associate Property Manager with a field operations focus to join our Gold Beach team. This on-site, part-time role serves as an apprenticeship to a Property Manager, supporting inspections, operations, and guest/owner relations while learning portfolio management and revenue strategies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, conducting inspections, handling turnovers, and maintaining CRM records. Local relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in hospitality, property management, or related field.
• Interest in a long-term career in property or portfolio management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of property management.
• Conduct property inspections and document findings.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure brand standards.
• Perform light maintenance as needed.
• Assist with turnover readiness and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor property condition trends and escalate to the Property Manager.
• Maintain notes in CRM and property management systems.
• Submit and track work orders; ensure timely completion.
• Partner with teams on portfolio needs.
• Support new property onboarding and compliance items.
• Participate in training on homeowner relations and guest experience.
• Shadow senior Property Managers to learn portfolio ownership.
• Assist with special projects and process improvements.
