Job summary

Person County Government is seeking reliable and detail-oriented part-time Field/Game Supervisors to support the Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department. This position oversees game-day staff and ensures adherence to established rules and procedures, position following facility operations.

Work is performed under supervision with standard procedures; candidates must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, and must be able to work nights and weekends at various parks in Roxboro,

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Knowledge of relevant rules of sports.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.

Responsibilities

• Must be present at site thirty minutes prior to start of game/practice and prepare equipment.
• Supervise gate person, scorekeeper and clock operator.
• Ensure facilities are clean and ready for use; gym floor swept, bathrooms clean.
• Report results of activities to Recreation Department personnel by 9:00 AM.
• Ensure doors and equipment are locked after games or practices.
• Enforce Code of Conduct and file required forms for injuries and incidents.
