Job summary

Children's National Medical Center is seeking a Fetal Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms and related studies in the Cardiology Echo Laboratory. You will work collaboratively with hospital staff and contribute to high-quality fetal and pediatric cardiac imaging.

This role requires an approved echocardiography program graduate, 2 years of fetal echo experience, and PE/RCCS or RCCS plus FE certification with BLS on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Echocardiography program required.
• 2 years fetal echo experience in pediatric/fetal lab required.
• Certifications: PE or RCCS; FE; BLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and measurements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing forms.
• Promote education in the department about echocardiography.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality exams.
