Qualifications

• 3 years of operational service center experience in payroll.
• 3 years Federal HR experience performing payroll functions.
• Experience processing payroll documents under federal/state/local rules.
• Ability to understand payroll processes and interrelationships.

Responsibilities

• Process and resolve errors on payroll documents (address changes, direct deposit, tax documents, financial allotments, union dues).
• Review and process garnishment and wage attachments with required documentation.
• Analyze and coordinate resolution of payroll inquiries and the biweekly payroll process.
• Respond to employees and managers regarding a variety of pay issues.
• Research routine payroll discrepancies and determine escalation to supervisor.
• Utilize payroll interface systems to input data and resolve payroll issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
