Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family practice or primary care.
• Current RN license.
• Current NP license in the practicing state.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Prescriptive authority under state and federal law.
• Experience with electronic medical records; Athenahealth preferred.
• Strong computer skills and workflow-management ability.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and clinical quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adults and children (2+) at an employer-sponsored center.
• Perform preventive, acute, and chronic care visits.
• Conduct exams, health assessments, and medical histories.
• Diagnose and treat common conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health and wellness; provide counseling.
• Order/interpret lab and diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Build lasting patient relationships and document encounters in EMR.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance and support clinic workflows.
• Collaborate with onsite clinical team to ensure high-quality care.
