Job summary

Proactive MD seeks an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary care at our Midland, TX employer-sponsored health center. The role features a 40-hour schedule with no weekends, focusing on building lasting patient relationships in a 30-minute visit model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• Current and unrestricted PA license in the state of posting.
• PA-C certification currently active.
• Prescriptive authority compliant with state/federal requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient computer skills (internet, spreadsheets, word processing).
• Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and pediatric patients in an employer-sponsored health center.
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness services, and health education.
• Conduct physical exams and obtain medical histories.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with patients.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging tests.
• Prescribe medications within license scope.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain HIPAA and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with clinic team to ensure efficient workflows.
• Participate in patient education and health promotion.
