Job summary

NPHire is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a physician-owned primary care clinic in Cumming, GA. The role supports patients from age 5 through geriatrics with full-scope family medicine, under a part-time schedule including Mondays, Tuesdays, and alternating Saturdays.

The FNP will have phone-only call responsibilities, CME allowance, and dedicated CME days to support ongoing education. Licensure in Georgia and FNP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Georgia APRN license and FNP board certification.
• 1–2 years NP experience preferred; new grads with primary care or med-surg experience may be considered case-by-case.
• Comfort treating patients age 5 and up across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across the lifespan (pediatric to geriatric).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions (HTN, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease).
• Perform well visits, preventive screening, and health maintenance.
• Order/interpret labs and imaging; coordinate referrals.
• Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with physician owner and provide phone coverage in a shared call rotation.
