Job summary

NPHire is seeking a part-time FNP for a physician-owned primary care clinic in Cumming, GA. The role serves patients aged 5 and up, including acute, chronic, and preventive care, with a diverse multicultural panel.

It is a 1099 independent contractor position offering $60–$70/hour and a schedule of two days per week plus alternating Saturdays, with phone-only on-call. You will work alongside the physician owner, perform well visits, order labs, coordinate referrals, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license and FNP board certification required.
• 1–2 years NP experience preferred; RN experience considered case by case.
• New FNP graduates with prior primary care or med-surg experience considered case by case.
• Comfortable caring for patients age 5 and up across full age range.
• eClinicalWorks experience preferred; willingness to learn accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across lifespan (age 5+) from pediatric through geriatric.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease.
• Perform well visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; coordinate referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Document encounters in eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with physician owner on complex cases.
• Participate in shared phone call rotation.

Job description

A small, physician-owned primary care clinic in Cumming, Georgia is looking for a part-time FNP who actually wants to use their full certification — not a narrow slice of it. Age 5 through geriatrics, acute and chronic and preventive, across a genuinely diverse multicultural patient panel. Two days a week plus alternating Saturdays, phone-only call, CME allowance and dedicated CME days, and a physician owner who works beside you rather than above you. 1099 structure; $60–$70/hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across the lifespan from pediatric through geriatric patients (age 5 and up)
• Diagnose and manage acute presentations and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disease
• Perform well visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging; coordinate specialty referrals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks
• Collaborate with physician owner on complex or ambiguous presentations
• Participate in shared phone call rotation
