Job summary

The Diocese of San Diego is seeking a part-time Faith Formation Assistant at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Santee, California. You will support clerical tasks and assist with the organization of events in a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are proactive, well-organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are preferred. The role requires up to 19 hours weekly at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Catholic Faith with experience in evangelization and catechetical terminology.
• Bilingual & Biliterate (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical/secretarial duties for Faith Formation.
• Schedule meetings and assist in organizing departmental events.
• Data entry - update contact lists and sacramental certificates.
