Job summary

San Jacinto College seeks a Part-Time Faculty member to teach Cosmetology at the South campus. Teaching Cosmetology, instructors may work in the evenings and on weekends, with assignments as needed and on-site presence at the assigned work location.

Teaching Cosmetology.

Instructors employed as part-time facultyarenot entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
