Western Slope Health Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Placerville, CA. The part-time position pays $21.00 per hour and involves hands-on maintenance tasks to keep the facility safe, clean, and functional for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role supports preserving a comfortable environment, performing routine building and grounds upkeep, and coordinating with nursing services as needed.

Qualificações

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, healthcare, or related fields is helpful.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team.
• Good communication with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Follow established maintenance schedules and daily work assignments.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering, and other trades.
• Maintain grounds, parking areas, driveways, walkways, and exterior areas.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and maintain lighting throughout the facility.
• Clean windows, screens, and other areas as directed.
• Assist with servicing heating and cooling units per manufacturer recommendations.
• Report equipment malfunctions and incidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with nursing services when working in resident living areas.
• Maintain supplies and ensure proper storage of equipment after use.
• Follow safety precautions when using tools and equipment.
