Job summary

AMIkids Piedmont is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker to perform routine upkeep, custodial tasks, and grounds maintenance. The role includes coordinating specialized vendors for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work to keep facilities safe and functional.

Responsibilities include inspecting buildings, maintaining records, and scheduling weekly maintenance with oversight from the Executive Director. Requires safety training and knowledge of OSHA/EPA rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years related maintenance experience.
• Possess required state certifications/licenses to perform repairs.
• Knowledge of applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across building trades.
• Conduct custodial work and grounds maintenance; schedule vendor work.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate licensed contractors for complex tasks.
• Maintain a Maintenance Log and address maintenance requests promptly.
• Ensure PPE usage and OSHA compliance; participate in safety training.
