Job summary

East Bay Post Acute is seeking a Maintenance Assistant on a part-time basis to keep the facility, grounds, and equipment safe and well-maintained. You will follow established maintenance schedules and coordinate daily services with nursing staff to support resident comfort and safety.

This position requires basic repair work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), equipment checks, light bulb replacement, and routine cleaning of windows and areas as directed.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.

Responsibilities

• Follow established maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility, and equipment as directed.
