Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Maintenance worker in Indiana to maintain the facility and assist in transporting goods for ministry purposes. You will oversee volunteers and ensure cleaning, upkeep, and safety standards are met to support our mission.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to complete Safe From Harm training within 90 days. Some maintenance experience is preferred and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Background check required.
• Some experience in building maintenance or custodial services preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and complete Safe From Harm training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee volunteers who perform custodial duties.
• Keep facilities clean and maintained; clean fixtures, mop, trash removal, dusting and polishing.
