Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Assistant to support daily operations, logistics, and facilities across multiple sites. The role involves transporting donations, assisting with inventory, and helping with event setup and teardown throughout the year.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a valid MVR. Domestic travel may be required, with a focus on safety and reliable coordination. This position is non-exempt and hourly.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of.
• Experience: Facilities, warehouse, delivery, maintenance, or logistics is a plus.
• Skills/Abilities: Valid MVR with a clear driving record; strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail; ability to multi-task; respectful and professional interaction; proficiency with email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day maintenance and operations across multiple facilities.
• Pickup and deliver donated items and supplies from various locations.
• Coordinate and transport program materials and inventory; support event setup/teardown.
• Maintain warehouse inventory and assist Kitchen Manager with food items.
• Assist with seasonal duties and coat/barrel distributions as needed.
