Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Jessup, PA is hiring a Part-time Custodian to maintain cleanliness and perform minor repairs in a fast-paced distribution center. The role supports health, safety and sustainability initiatives and may offer schedule flexibility after onboarding and performance milestones.

The position requires reliable, multi-tasking team players who can handle 25–100 lb lifts and pass a routine drug screen. Shifts run Mon-Fri, up to 28 hours per week, with morning start times.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, and other bathroom services
• Performing minor repairs and painting at the facility
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces like door handles, drinking fountains, counters and tables
• Maintaining inventory supplies for cleaning and ordering products as needed
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that support health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning and practicing environmental health and safety trainings
