Fastenal Co. in High Point, NC is seeking a Full-time Custodian for our NC100 Distribution Center. The role involves cleaning, minor repairs, painting, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced warehouse, with emphasis on health, safety, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that may weigh 25-50 lbs and up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, and other bathroom services
• Performing minor repairs and painting at our facility
• Disinfecting commonly touched surfaces like door handles, drinking fountains, counters and tables
• Maintaining inventory supplies for cleaning and ordering products as needed
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
