Job summary

The Salvation Army Albany Corps is seeking a Building Attendant (Part-Time) to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for worship, programs, and community services in Albany, Oregon. The role supports maintenance and event setup, with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

Hours are 29 per week at $19.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt, part-time position within the Administration & Corps department, with ADA accommodations available on request.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to pass a background check (Criminal History & Sex Offender Registry)
• Skill in general maintenance and property upkeep
• Janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Corps Property Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the Albany Corps building.
• Restrooms: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors; restock supplies; empty trash.
• General Facility Cleaning: Sweep/mop floors, vacuum carpets, maintain kitchen and chapel cleanliness, pantry upkeep.
