Job summary

Front Porch in Santa Barbara is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician I to help ensure safe, reliable operations of Grace Village-AH facilities. This role covers plumbing, electrical, painting, minor carpentry, and equipment repairs in resident units and common areas.

The position requires on-call availability, the possibility of living on site, and a hands-on approach to inspecting, testing, and repairing equipment while keeping clear records of work orders and preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not required.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Willingness to be on-call and possibly live on site.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical equipment, electrical systems, and safety devices.
• Dismantle defective machines and install parts.
• Perform plumbing repairs and routine maintenance.
• Assist with repairs to building components and painting.
• Respond to work orders and support with on-site events.
