Job summary

Operation Kindness Humane Society is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Carrollton, TX. The role focuses on routine, scheduled, and unscheduled semi-skilled maintenance of facilities and the vehicle fleet to keep operations safe and functional.

Responsibilities include using a service ticket system, performing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and landscape tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow Service Ticket Request system and document work.
• Perform routine and semi-skilled maintenance for facilities and fleet.
• Ensure fleet, facilities, and grounds are safe and clean.
• Troubleshoot and repair tools, systems, and equipment; escalate complex repairs.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Conduct regular safety and security inspections; report hazards.
