Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep our buildings and grounds safe, functional, and inviting for residents. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep on-site, while mentoring junior staff and supporting on-call emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
• Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
• Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
• Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
• Other duties as assigned
